Russian stocks may slightly grow on positive background
MOSCOW, Feb 6 (PRIME) -- Russian stocks may slightly increase at the opening on Wednesday amid a weakly positive foreign background, analysts said.
“We expect the MOEX Russia Index to open with an insignificant increase of around 0.2%, around the notch of 2,550 points. The main support levels will be 2,540 and 2,530 points. The nearest resistance will be at 2,560 and 2,570 points,” Vitaly Manzhos, senior risk manager at investment company Algo Capital, said.
Before the start of trading in Russia, the U.S. stock index futures are demonstrating an insignificant increase within 0.1%, Brent oil futures added 0.1%, Japan’s Nikkei225 rose 0.1%, while markets of China, Hong Kong, and South Korea are closed for holidays.
